Should be interesting to see as my car is currently getting the same mod done.
koppers Member 119 Member For: 18y 2m 2d Posted 11/03/09 10:12 AM Author Share Posted 11/03/09 10:12 AM Opted for the .70 cover to make some gains in the top end when the turbine side starts to choke the compressor. Has definitely worked, it just wants to keep on making more power. Will see where it's limit is when the bigger cooler goes on. Certainly didn't inhibit the cars ability to produce boost down low as these earlier runs show :o As Lee said, just the springs and retainers have been done. And as far as times on the quarter, well, let's not speak about tens, don't want to jinx ourselves do we? koppers Member 119 Member For: 18y 2m 2d Posted 23/03/09 12:31 AM Author Share Posted 23/03/09 12:31 AM Forced, no signs of any damage yet. Shifts are firm without any weakness to speak of yet (touch wood.) Though there was a problem the other night at the drags, but turns out that the actuator rod was fouling on the engine mount and sticking every now and again. Issue being sorted as we speak, so keen to hit the drags again and see how she goes.
