Hi Guys

I have just bought a 2003 BA XR6T and scored a FPV Mount for gauges. I am getting a boost and oil preassure gauge. I was going to get Defi Racer Gauges but are a bit pricey.

I have also been looking at Drift Irridium Gauges or Autometer Cobolt Gauges. Anybody know of pros and cons for either.

thanks

Josh

Cant comment on the Drift gauges but the Autometer is a quality Gauge. And they match the dash lights.

My Cobalt boost gauge was zero'd in the wrong spot, couldn't change it. The cobalt Air Fuel Ratio gauge doesn't have a back light like the rest (LED reading) and it doesn't look cool when 2 of em are lit up and 1 isn't.

What ever you end up doing make sure you get electronic gauges and not mechanical! :spoton: this is why

Im running the Drift Digi gauges, works perfectly, full LCD display. Nice shallow mount, so the sat in my gauge pod nicely. In saying that I've also installed Autometer gauges and not had any major issues (mainly calibration).

I think it will come down to personal preference really.

I run twin cobalts, oil press and boost/vac, can't fault them either and they look right at home in T's. The Drift Irridium's look hot as well. In the end it probably comes down to looks, and as you have to look at them all day the choice is yours.
