Also you'll need a 2bar MAP sensor if you want to run over 5 psi boost.

Guest Guests Posted 11/03/09 07:06 AM Share Posted 11/03/09 07:06 AM For the cash you outlay, you'll get minimal benifits mate. You might as well save the coin you're going to throw at it, sell the NA with a new motor for a nice little amount, buy a stock XR6T & mod it. If you have to wait a few months then do it, you'll be much happier! The only way to do it properly is to build the NA motor with lower comp so you can run bigger boost. That would render the new motor from Ford useles...

RDP told me that I wasted my time by putting on a 2bar map sensor because apparently my ecu can pick up from the standard sensor better than when using a 2 bar.. you can drive it as long as you havent up graded the injectors and fuel pump. I drove mine around for a month or 2 before a tune but make sure you get the 0.8 mm gapped plugs in otherwise itll blow the spark out.

Get your N/A send it away to be turned into a weapon. whether you had a stock turbo or an N/A you would still be paying for a built engine, bigger turbo, tubo manifold, plenum, intercooler, exhaust fuel pump/s, injectors, tuning etc etc.. correct me if I'm wrong though guys but it would be better than selling your n/a buying a turbo and then realizing that that's what you want out of your car .I have thought about this as I have a N/A. I got quoted 10 grand for a S/c setup.... couldn't I spend another 8 or so on top of that and get a weapon or at least a very big smile buy building a strong turboThe only place I can see the down fall is the cost of a new box and diff but you would loose that same money if you were to sell your na and buy a turbo.CheersCameronP.s sorry for the hijack
