Not my pinky but the next one f*ckING hurts, took a fair bit of skin off too.. Didnt hurt too much at the time but now I can barely use my left hand. Almost any movement, PAIN... The machine grabbed and kicked back. The force broke his jaw, and cheekbone and ground away 2 teeth and large chunk from his forehead. First aid man saw the injury and passed out. He recovered with only a small scar to his forehead.A good reason why these have been banned from job sites. Stanley knives should be banned as well IMO. Apprentice at work was brazing copper pipe with a stanley knife once, knife slipped and put a nice cut up and across his forearm. Was only wearing a helmet & normal clothes as it was a quick idea around the headlands. I had sand embedded completly down the left side of my body. Managed to get back up after a sec, kicked the bike over somehow & road home. Jumped in the shower & scrubbed it all out. Was the most ridicleous thing ive ever had to do to myself but I knew I had to do it now or they would do it at the hospital where I had no control over it. I spent the best part of the next month wrapped up & in a mess. Havent been on one since. That was nearly 5 years ago & I dont miss it one bit. I can hear my skull crunch on my neck when I move side to side, and this was about 14yrs ago! My back is rooted from it...Most recent is a Sun Server heatsink attacked my thumb, razor sharp heat sink, I have 8 paper thin cuts on my thumb. It looks cool, but it hurt like buggery! Flat out in reverse then a big hook on the wheel, had been doing this for 12 holes. 13th hole buggy flipped and crushed 3 lower vertebrae. My mate drags me to my feet saying "quick lets get buggy back on wheels before anyone sees it".The pain was not too bad initially, but in 15 mins was shocking. Went to casualty at hospital waited (seated) 5 hours to be seen, doc pushed aroud area siad you need an x-ray. Results came back doc said I couldn't sit for 6 months (after one month laying down) only stand up or lay down. Having a turd was crippling. All better now luckily. Also an apprentice at work was using a 9" grinder, in confinded area. The machine grabbed and kicked back.
