When I lived in perth, my house burned down. I was climbing up a ladder with the insurance assessor to look at the damage to the roof.

As I took the last step from the ladder onto the roof, the ladder slipped from under me and I fell 12ft to the concrete path below.

This fractured 2 vertebra I my back and I have had cronic back pain ever since.

I am seeing a surgeon next week to find out if the time has come to have my back fused as the pain is getting worse every week.

used 2 work in the safeway deli dept when I was 15. customer asked me to slice some salami for him in thick slices so I put the blade of the meat slicer up and started slicing, ended up hacking a chunk of meat off the knuckle of my thumb down to the bone. Was quite amusing actually all I could see was the bone no blood then all of a sudden blood just started pissing out lol the girl working with my fainted when I showed her and everyone in safeway was pannicked but I was light headed from all the blood I lost and was laughing ppl thought I was crazy lol. another girl working in the deli pannicked and wrapped up the salami....customer came back later on with the salami and nice little chunk of my flesh in the bag.

Yeah, I agree with everyone else - the lower back pain is the worst!

I've only got a mild case of it and its bad enough. I'll tweak it and it will buggered for a couple of days and I will struggle to get around, then it goes away. Numerous moto and downhill bike stacks have contributed to that one.

I reckon a good dose of gravel rash is also real painful! I came off my DH bike at just on 60km/h one day as I crossed a patch of tarmac. The font wheel hit the lip of the tar as I came off the dirt and I went off the side of the bike. Took pretty much all the skin off one side of my body. From my right knee up to my waist, then up my back to my shoulder and all my right arm and a bit of my face. Just shredded my clothes and then my skin. Digging the bits of gravel out and putting anesthetic on is not fun and it stings for weeks!

Got scars all over me from damn bikes!! But I luv em....

I've had broken arms, broken legs, popped shoulders, broken ribs, numerous concussions & also slipped a disk in my back all from racing BMX when I was younger but the worst pain I can remember is ripping off a finger nail! Haha

Had a few, all related to things with engines.

Going ~75km/h along a tarred road, standing with one foot on the side of a home-made dune buggy with quadbike wheels on the back, the other foot was dangling in mid air and I was holding on to the driver's helmet for balance... :roflmbo:

No helmet for me either... (I was 15, young, dumb, etc.)

Needless to say, the one foot that was on the chassis slipped off and went straight under the quaddie wheel. Ankle broken in three places as the buggy bounced onto two wheels as it rode up the back of my leg. Probably lucky to get away with just an ankle injury in hindsight.

The other major one was another no-helmet incident, whilst "under the influence"...

Went over the bars of a mates KX125 and had my two front-TOP teeth come down fast and smash the tops off my two front-BOTTOM teeth embedding fragments of said teeth DEEEEP into my bottom lip. To make it worse, my lip piercing smashed into my bottom gum and took a major chunk out of there also.

Spent about 15 minutes standing in front of a mirror pulling pieces of teeth out of my lip with a pair of tweezers.

Couldn't undo the piercing either as the trauma to that part of my lip made it impossible to see where the hole was, let alone try to unscrew a bolt through it...

Had the teeth capped twice, first time they got knocked off by a friendly closeline from a mate at school. 2nd time I went down in the first corner of a Moto race (got the holeshot though :riaa: ) and had my helmet run over by one or two other bikes which may have just shaken the caps off?? I spat em into my goggles which were then hanging around my neck as I stood up.

Anyway, eventually my denstist gave up on me and just filed them smooth instead of trying to re-re-recap them lol.

P.S. It's really amazing how well the mouth heals. My lips/gums are good as new and recovered really fast with a daily salt-water mouth rinse.

 I once got king hit from behind (Dog act) in a footy match and my tooth went through my bottom lip and split it into two (they were like flaps!), Three stitches later (They didnt even use the numbing crap because they had none left, how bads that!?)

A few months later, nothing there! looks like new :spoton:

Had had over seven major operations under general anesthetic. Shattered femeur, torn anterior cruciate, snapped the socket in my right shoulder and a rinhosepteplasy. had over 100 staples and over 60 stiches in my life.

All in all I would go through all that again to never ever ever experience kidney stones again.
