Finally got some time to strip down the interior of the Ute and put my gear in. Never after a super slick system, will put the money else where on the car but for $550 and did the hard yards myself its not half bad. Heaps better than the standard system.

Put the 4ch amp under the passanger seat and ran the cables either side of the vehicle and up though the carpet. Just used the amps high level inputs also utilizing the auto power on/off feature, no need to run a remote wire. Plenty of room for the dogs in the ute also!

Theres a spare rubber port through the firewall on the passengers side, real hard to see and only found it by having a feel around. The picture doesn't show it, but just get your arm in there up to your elbow.

Mounted the tweeters on corner cups, pretty simple although their slightly rounded so will need to shape the tweeter cradles a little for a perfect fit.

I know theres also been some confusion as to the factory speakers, so I got some pics. The speaker is built into the mounting so you will need to make your own mount for new speakers. I just went to Bunnings bought a sheet of mdf, needs to be about an inch thick depending on your speaker depth.
