actually you couldnt be more wrong....

dealerships get paid from ford aus to do warranty work and considering most dealerships are struggling for work with the economic downturn or whatever reason it is for servicing to be slowing down for most ford dealerships we want warranty work. most of the time we will try and get diff bushes done for customers out of warranty through prior approval from ford.

Hey,

Just wondering what the fix was for this? I've got the same problem. I keep taking it to ford and they re-calibrate the SAS sensor but the problem returns weeks later.

Im getting the same thing...its intermittent....

Sometimes when Im driving around a corner at normal speed...the DSC tries to cut in....even though Im only going slow....weird :roflmbo:

I thought it was something to do with my tune but Ill try disconnecting the battery and see what happens...

I have taken my car to my mechanic instead of ford this time. The problem appears to be a collar on the steering column for the steering angle sensor (SAS) is moving, a known problem in the first BF.

Whats annoying is why did Ford keep re-calibrating the sensor instead of swapping it out during the warranty period. The replacement part is $900.
