Posted 09/03/09 10:54 AM Share Posted 09/03/09 10:54 AM Most US airlines as far as I know are in some degree of trouble.Yeah, LAX doesn't like the A380's because they did jack all to prepare for them so Qantas is talking about taking them to SFO, don't know what Qantas will do when they retire the 747's in a few years as they don't really have any other planes in their fleet which can make the distance from Melb to LAX direct as yet.The funny thing is that airports which will probably never see an A380 (or certainly not frequently) have gone and updated their infrastructure for example Adelaide. The market is in trouble, passenger numbers are down, Singapore airlines cant fill there A380 on any leg and the 3 Qantas ones are plagued with minor faults. Airports due to upgrade there facilities to accomodate them are cancelling these updates.I.B.

Travelled quite a few times back and forth to the UK.Have flown Royal Brunei twice aswell. Cheap flights but instead of one stop its normally 2 stops between Perth and Heathrow so its a bit of a killa and takes a bloody long time to arrive. Have the 'allah' prayer before all flights too but its not too bad.Singapore is better IMO though and is a more comfortable flight.
