I've only flown Emirates. Great service, great seats (Every seat has an entertainment system. tv, music, movies, games).

And let's be honest, it's gotta be a sure bet it will never be taken by terrorists. They won't hit their own airline.

That's what they said about cricket. Don't forget Bali as well. Terrorists don't give a rats arse who they hit.

Loudest as in??

They only operate small twin propeller planes. Not that loud in my view.

I.B.

I flew a twin prop from Auckland to Gisborne a couple of years ago. It's deafening in the plane, we couldn't talk. Probably cause they don't have the insulation of a bigger plane.

Depends where you're going, I flew Emirates few times to europe and have no complaints at all, out of Australia they were flying Boeing but now they switched to A380 (not sure it's for all flights). Flew United to USA a year ago, I <3 Bananas that was bad. they have no personal screens just few TV's throughout the plane, felt more like a bus. Lucky I can sleep on a plane otherwise the boredom would have been deadly.

Yeah but what did you expect from a US airline? They are so busy cutting everything out, including from their so call "full serivce" airlines that there is no way they'd put something in. (Hell even safety can sometimes come second place to cost cutting).

I would never actively choose to fly a US based airline if there was virtually any other option.

United Airlines on the brink of going belly up is the rumor. Qantas considering a merge with BA and cutting back in there orders of A380s.

Prolly considering cutting back the 380's cause LAX dont like them.......

Qantas are the only airline flying into LAX with a 380, and all ground movement must ceace cause the 380 is too fat. And im guessing LAX arent real willing to stretch the runway and taxiways for one aircraft.......
