All BF clusters can have shift alert enabled. BA 1 100% cant but not sure about BA2's. Requires EEPROM reporgramming and some scan tool work.

revheadrobbo: That is a Custom fascia I got made up. I have them in the older style XR and the newer BF MK 2.5 style in 270kmh/8000rpm the same as the FPV's.

I can't believe people are trying to retrofit this!!?!! I find it the most annoying noise ever in my mates Pursuit.... each to their own I suppose!

On the subject, but the complete opposite of the intial poster's objective; does anyone know how to get the chime turned off?!! We went into sunshine ford on the Gold Coast, shortly after my mate purchased the ute second hand requesting if anyone knew how to turn the shift beep off and the 'helpfull' man in service said he didn't know of such a 'shift beep' and that we were obviously abusing the car to the point where it was giving an audible warning and should lay off it....so he obviously had no idea what we were talking about and had never heard it before!

After this we assumed it is not possible to turn off and put up with it......
