One word for that film "Irreversible" is.........Fire Extinguisher :)

I've heard of this scene, some mates went to see it at the cinema!

I like a good action film with heaps of violence or a good war film, but this type of prolonged torturous stuff I can't enjoy and it's just beyond me how anyone could enjoy watching this. I mean as Kona said himself, it made him physically sick as some points, how is that enjoyable?

please enlighten me.

Admittedly I haven't seen the movie in its entirety - but I have seen a fair few of the various scene's (yes, the bad ones) and it just looks like one of those dodgey 80's movies, that was scary for its day but just rubbish now. I couldn't take it seriously so it didn't have much effect on me. I reckon today’s generation is so desensitised to violence and gore - Well, I know I am anyway.

A bit like Alfred Hitchcock’s - Psycho and A Clockwork Orange. I remember watching them both a few years back and after hearing their reputation and everyone telling me they were really violent, scary, etc - but they were both crap. You see worse stuff on CSI these days....
