Buenos dias Putas.

Through an associate of mine, I am able to get good prices on the Drift brand Iridium Series 52mm, digital display, electrical gauges.

The units are available in Blue (and possibly Red by request, will confirm this asap) and display a black screen when the car is turned off.

Here are a few pics of the products.
Do they come with sender units or just the gauges?

Russ
Sender and fitting kit is included mate.
Did they fit in the tripod pictured with no modification?
I believe to get a perfect fit, a very small amount of plastic needs to be removed from the tripod. It's just a tiny bit off the reinforcing tab and won't weaken the tripod.

Ideally, I'd love to get hold of a tripod so I could fit the sample gauges that are sitting on my desk but I don't have a spare $150 lying around this week to blow on a test unit.

If anyone has a spare laying around, I'd love to take it off you for an hour or two so I could fit the gauges and write a step by step of what needs to be done (if anything). Anyone wanna whore out their tripod for a 6pack?

It seemed to work fine for Coley though, as he didn't mention any problems when I quizzed him about the gauges. Not sure if he's still active here but I'll PM him and ask him if he bothered filing it off or just worked around it. Edited by Ghosti

PLEASE NOTE:

I had my wires crossed. The removal of plastic I was talking about in the above post was for the Genuine FPV Pod, not the tripod.

I have PM'd Coley to ask him if he needed to remove any plastic from the tripod and I'm awaiting his response (although he didn't mention anything last time I spoke to him about the gauges).

I'll keep you all posted on this.

Cheers

So the oil temp is in Celsius?
and the oil pressure/boost is in psi?
I'm guessing the side values move around like a normal needle gauge would?

My boost gauge is being a total penis lately.
Might be in for these..

Any vids with these in action Ghosti?

Yeah man, Boost is PSI and temps are in C.

Correct also, the outside moves around like a needle and the middle has the number.

Here's a really bad video of the gauges. It's the only one I could find and it's only of the startup but it'll give you a basic idea.

So if the OEM gauges on the F6 are digital and these are, does that mean I can just swap them over or do I also have to change the sender units?
