I used to have a Late model camira SS with 280rwkw, 3.9 gears and a 6speed manual.. (Cam, valve springs, exhaust, intake manifold)

It would go with the HSV 427... All up cost me $26k..

Had serious grunt and awesome sound.. Good for $26k......

I heard a rumour that Ford has given go ahead to FPV to start development on a GTHO these will have a supercharged 5.4 not unlike the engine out of the Ford GT (new 40 style) or the super snake . This will give these poor ba*stards @ walky talky some thing to think about,its like just when the Expensive Daewoo boys get a sniff of one up they get a kick in the back off the knees and get told to be back down on there knees were they belong, looking up in awe of the greatest producion sedans in the world ,lets just hope its true.

Next model will have boost but it won't be a HO.

GT engine might see a few psi with the new 5 litre. Standard 5 litre for XR8 will make 300 kw if its the same version going into next years Mustang.

Wheels magazine (yes I subscribe, makes for some good toilet reading) did a comparo this month between GTS, W427, F6, GT, FPR (race car) and HRT (ride car, which for the uneducated is basically a 4 seat version of the race car).

Why, I hear you ask? No idea, although of course it does throw up some interesting results. Of course, if there was nothing interesting to report, they wouldn't bother reporting it would they! I'll bring in the table of results and post it up for anyone interested.

there is a maloo ute with a ls7 in it with a ttkit runnin only 6psi n pulling 750 rwhp

Drivers were Tander and Richards, done at Calder I think a day or two after some sort of event there so grip levels weren't very high, accounting for the 'slow' times.
