Cruise Rules

In order for everyone to have a good time, a few rules have been implemented.

Failure to abide by these rules will ensure you are not invited to future events held by FordXR6Turbo.com. or their cruise controllers.

The reasons for these rules are simple:

Public and Police Perception - We do not want the Ford XR6 Turbo community to face the same ridicule and stereotypes other car communities have faced in the past.

Obey all traffic laws whilst on the cruise and use common sense … we don't want to put any of our members, or the general public, at risk by our actions….and we don’t need to draw attention to ourselves from the Police.

There is a designated cruise leader for a reason, they are familiar with the route and will lead the way by setting an appropriate pace for all the cruise members. All participants must stay behind the designated leader and keep a safe distance from the car in front.

Use the Buddy system; always make sure you can see the car behind you. This will give people behind you an indication on where to turn and to make sure nobody gets lost or left behind.

CB Radios; if you don't have one, get one or borrow one…..to keep all participants aware of any hazards along route, a CB radio is a must have.,especially on the night cruises, but please limit chatter during the twisty parts of the cruise. This will allow the cruise leader to relay information about road conditions, upcoming obstacles, etc. efficiently.

Bringing a friend to use the radio is an even better idea so that the driver can concentrate on doing just that.

By attending this cruise you agree not to hold FordXR6Turbo.com, its Administrators, Moderators, Cruise Organisers, or Owners responsible/liable for any traffic infringements, damage and/or grief sustained (simply; if you stuff up or do the wrong thing, it's your fault, not ours).

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask before the cruise.

If you dont have a CB then dont bother coming as it makes it too hard to keep track of everyone

The 14th is actually a Saturday night.....while we've had sucess with Friday nights, I figured I'd give Saturday a shot because some of our members have other commitments on Fridays and this will give them a chance to come for a run with us.

I would imagine that some of those roads would be quiter on a saturday night compared to a friday. Should be a clearer run.

Im in if I have my car back.
