After buying the Bogan special I was kind of suprised with how well it hooked up but just as suprised at the lack of acceleration it has from say 80-160... The T I had (340+) Would be the oppostite. Getting the power down in a manual was aweful not only due to the lack of traction. But it was scary how fast it would go from 80-160+..

But this is all fixed with a few thou lol.

Regarding the question asked at the start of the thread, dont bog down and you will have him no drama!!

Its funny the HSV boys never learn! I gave a 6L maloo a slight head start by 3rd he was behind.

They tend to keep up through 1st and most of 2nd but soon as 3rd comes and wheel spin stops they get left for dead real fast!

No Expensive Daewoo v8 has come close to the old TRANNY even off the mark.If you guys are supporting 330rwkw and take untill 4th gear to overtake them, then I guess you better dyno your car again or learn how to drive...LOL

:danceforme:

ive raced all kinds of Expensive Daewoo V8s, from 5.0litres up to 6.2litres worked and stock and have not lost to an N/A to date! (lost to a harrop S/C monaro when I was having issues with my coils) from both off the line and roll ons I flog them. Unless they are blown or had 20k thrown at the engine they wont hassle a properly modified and tuned T. If you cant beat that maloo til 3rd gear and you have 330rwkw something aint right.

agreed im the same came up against heaps of Expensive Daewoo v8s only lost to a supercharged vz ute and I stuck with him till we hit about 180 then the v8 just had heaps more legs and pulled away.

I think most ppls problem who drive ford turbos dont drive them properly and just get wheelspin cause they boost up and dumpit off the line, ya need to practise a bit and ya can take off quite quick without any wheelspin and havin 245's on 20"s helps a bit, my old 18"s were like drivin on wet roads
