Guest Guests Posted 02/03/09 02:22 AM Share Posted 02/03/09 02:22 AM with these jammers, I no they are illegal in nsw if you get caught with one.. but how would you get caught with one? do they have radar detector detectors? They certainly do, they can detect if they are being scrambled or attempted to be jammed. In nsw it carrys a $1500 on the spot fine and 9 points if you have one connected in your car.

If the cop can't get Lidar to work or the radar feedback sounds off and its only with your car you can guarentee an intercept. Then you can probably be guarenteed a fine tooth comb over your car and a maglight up the backside combined with fines. Also a radar detector can be located if you forget to turn it off after being pulled over and the cop shoots some radar around the inside of your car while standing next to you. From memory a red P-plater couldn't drive a NA XR6 but I can't find the right gazette

Its against the law, but because your not dropping a burnout its all ok Good luck with that one. . . .Your honour.I.B.

This morning coming onto the freeway off Hutton street in Perth, there they were, not 1 but 2 revenue raisers hiding behind the usual lamp post, with only 1 car behind me I held my breath and my finger on the cruise accel and powered up to 80 from about 150 metres away while still in the 60 zone before it goes to 100 down the ramp. Nothing, diddly squat, just sailed past. Bloody good investment. I don't condone speeding in the suburbs, but I also don't condone getting ripped by doing 10-15 ks over the limit. Sometimes the law is an ass.
