Guest Guests Posted 01/03/09 06:51 AM Share Posted 01/03/09 06:51 AM Jammers prevent a handheld device (laser etc) from reading a vehicles speed & are against the law everywhere, but are not detectable afaik. They are not able to jam multinova's.Wrong!Jammers are legal to own & even have operational on your car, but it is illegal to interfere with the coppers handheld guns etc. Once you jam them you break the law, but you have to be caught using them If anyone is interested in a high end kit that is tried & tested, look for a Beltronics RX 75 Pro (remote mount) with theoptional front & rear jammer kit & external speaker upgrade. They are around $3k but worth their weight in gold & some...I'll be having mine re-fitted to the Phoon next week after having it in my XR for a while

Made me feel a little guilty as I sold him the detector .In regards to P platers, if you really want to drive a turbo go to WA, get you license there, register your car there and go back to vic and live as normal , just don't go nuts with mods. But then again driving a non turbo car for few years might even be good for you.

Make the detector one of the high end un-detectable units and then you're safe from being busted for having a detector/jammer.You think so?? 99%.I.B. Heres the linky http://www.radars.com.au/ In the vid on the site they show firing a hand held laser at a car fitted with a jammer, but it doesn't actually jam anything, it flicks on automatically and replicates the beam, thereby cancelling it out.I'm going to fit one on tuesday, but I wouldn't try one in a state where they are outlawed as I have heard the fines are massive Edited 01/03/09 02:55 PM by hypnodoc

But this aint' North America Correct me if I'm wrong, but with a jammer/detector setup, your sh*t out of luck I.B?
