Nah, they're not there permanently. It's just that every way I try to wash my car, I get massive water streaks and spots. Even with the spot free rinses at car wash places and driving at 100kmph to dry it. Water spots aren't really bothering me as much at the moment anyhow, my drivers side window is smashed through my interior.. Bloody thieves.

At work, we use ACIDET. It's in powder form which is mixed with water. Spray on and let dry to a white powder. (approx 2mins) Use a soft brush and hose off. will get rid of all bore water stains etc.

get a better chamois, and the final pass on the car the chamois should be squeezed as much as you can (I often give it a hard shake as well, that gets it a bit dryer as well).

Like said above, was the car well, dry it very well, clay bar it, polish it, and wax the hell out of the car. No more water spots in the future, so long as you keep applying wax once in a while to the car.
