:stickpoke:

If you mean remote wire to trigger the amp or power antenna then there will be one (maybe two, if one check the amps but typically can be split to trigger both)... Check the manual for wiring diagram - it will list which colour is what (typically blue for trigger/remote)...

This is NOT a 'remote in a sense of remote control' - ie external volume, skip, play sense...

therefore not to sure what you are talking about...

If your unsure of what you are doing - PLEASE GO TO AN AUDIO SHOP before you brick/paper weight your audio gear!

How hard to install?

hhhmm only thing I can think of is - if your unsure and need to ask, maybe best you go to get it installed by a car audio store...

there is a fair amount of work to be done for all that gear... get it wrong and you will have a lot of paper weights!

A decent car audio shop probably charge about $700-800 to fit it in about a day and a half.

A sh*t car audio shop would probably do it for about $500 but only take day cuase of their short cuts.

A DIY if you havent done it a few times before would probably take you about 4 days.

b-rad...

mate, if you are planning on just building 2x square mdf boxes for the subs, then 'throwing them in the boot', not re-wiring any speaker cables runs, and not looking to run the power cables under the carpet - yeah sure, few hours might get you by!

But to do it 'properly' will take 1 person alone without the knowlage of having done it many times in the past a good full day if not longer...

When I say doing it right - you will be removing the whole parcel shelf, all door trims, 'designing the sub box and tuning it correctly (which will most likely require a box design program)', cable runs, extra earthing, mounting of the boxes, mounting of the amps, fusing, blah blah...

half day - one man, not having done this type of car before? - good luck!

Not meaning to sound like a smart arse - but I have done loads of cars myself over the years, but yet to play with the RSpec, (if I do at all), and I know for a fact even after doing loads of cars in the past, and with Da gurly's help and another mate or two that have done cars with me other the years, even if I had the sub box designed the night before on the sim program I would be looking at a full day - drinks, stuffing around, sound matting, removing side skirts, center console, finding earthing point, firewall access, blah blah blah...

Not going to happen in 5 mins (half day)... sorry mate...

But if you happen to do it urself and have the ability, and know how, and happy for the car to be off the road for a few days (just incase)... knock yourself out! just dont electrocute yourself, or short anything... take loads of pics, and nothing will be more furfilling then telling all your mates - looks I did this myself! (oh and telling me and sick - UP URS SICK/Smicky)...
