the more hp they have the better it gets that's what I tell the minister for war & finance. seriously though they do get better with a custom tune but if you lay into it then you can only expect the obvious. highway trips if I toy with it high 8's more like high 9's. Around town all week very high teens. If I drive abit of each with some spirited driving I usually get 450klm a tank. Emphasis on the spirited driving though.

Welcome to the nut house mate. Have a good read & learn from our mistakes & dont be shy to ask questions most of us dont bite.

I get an average of 13.3l/100 with a ba auto and 314rwkw. that's some highway/ some city/ some wide open throttle. im not a rev head though, so not foot to floor all the time. my previous car- a ba fairmont ghia 4l could only get 14.2l/100.

I've been running around for a year on a 280kw tune now and where I used to live used to take ~40-50 minutes (either freeway or city) to get into work and seemed to average 390km out of a tank of fuel (sedan) which would typically last 4 days. Now that I'm living closer to work I'm getting 470km out of a tank that lasts 6-7 days easily and that's with highly spirited driving. Highway/freeway driving, as mentioned above, is about right. Your results may vary depending on driving style naturally (e.g. go on a car cruise, you might go through 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank no sweat). :)

My FG isn't tuned yet and I only get 300 km out of tank so goes to show how much better a tune does!

Though I do wear steel capped boots every day so my foot could be slightly heavy. :sleepystuff:

I have a BF with 306rwkw and drive a mix of freeway and light city driving (Wollongong isnt that busy) and get mid 12's to low 13's with a few good squirts here and there. Long trips on highway get around high 9's if im driving like a pussy but some spirited overtaking usually takes it to around 10-11L/100km

BA with 305rwkw, get ~15l per 100ks if I only do city driving during the week and ~ 10l per 100ks for hway with aircon and more than a few decent squirts! Im still getting better economy than std and my el fairmonth I6 that I had previously

My car is a 2004 BA 4sp Stock.

On the highway going to Lakes Entrance I averaged 8.8l/100ks with a car full of camping stuff and at a steady 105 all the way.

On the way back with a VERY heavy foot and on EXACTLY the same road I average 13.3 I think.

It all depends on your driving style.

Generally around town its high 13’s low 14’s.
