I take the reason being the CAT is the biggest restriction in the exhaust and effects the back pressure the most? In regards to the burble, I've heard stock cars with centre mufflers out burble, and on retune it goes away. I havn't heard about the burble in relation to tuned cars getting the muffler out burbling after though. Guess I'll find out Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54935-exhaust-removal/page/2/#findComment-830853 Share on other sites

I have a modded wastegate fitted. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54935-exhaust-removal/page/2/#findComment-830911 Share on other sites

So being better safe then sorry, car is going in tommorow after the exhaust to check the AFR's and a possible Re=rutune Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54935-exhaust-removal/page/2/#findComment-831291 Share on other sites
