I've been using Federal 595rs-r semi slicks which I straped on july last year & done about 10000klm but after a quick look at them it looks like im up for another set. I have been a good boy I havent even done a single skid or 1/4 run on them but it has done countless dyno runs & has had some good serious testing done in regards to street tests after tunes.I'm not complaining because there brilliant tyres its turned the car from a good dyno car & a quick track car to a brilliant street car. What the shortest time your poor tyres have lasted??? Guest Guests Posted 20/02/09 03:09 AM Share Posted 20/02/09 03:09 AM Fitted Friday, lit up Saturday, finished off Sunday & delaminated, swapped on Monday This was at a motoring event so no hooning involved...On the street, I usually get 10,000 - 15,000km depending on how good I am. I never get on the brake so don't shred alot of rubber most of the time

I must take some of the blame because when they are cold as soon as it hits boost its all wheelspin til ya backoff. The tyres are soft as well I spse, ive seen twin black lines of bits of rubber laying out the back of the dyno after a couple of runs. That cant help. I will be goin back for seconds of these tyres. Best tyre to suite the factory rim ive found at a reasonable price

Th set I'm on now seems like will last me a bit longer since I've lost my license my driving has taken a more careful approach. Could have pushed maybe 10,000 if I wasnt lazy with the last rotation.
