I do think so. ive owned one. quote the vin to ford, if ford say option 54 you have a genuine esp. mine actually said "falcon sedan" where it should have said fairmont ghia, but the vin code said it was a fairmont ghia.

Hey Guys,

Having a discussion on another forum about the next generation of collectable cars and wondered about this in terms of Ford specific cars.

Do you think there are any cars produced by Ford or aftermarket enhanced versions, between the 80s and now, that will be worth more in 10, 20 or 30 years than they are now.

Always been a Ford fan and I'd love to get hold of a an original car in immaculate condition and put it away in the shed as an investment of sorts.

What do you think?

simple.my answer.no ..we will never see prices that people are paying for the gtho....

yes the gtr skylines/supra/wrx/sierra/clubsports /xr6 turbos fpv and the tickford cars may retain value.

in value I say in 10 years time maybe a good example $15k xr6 t wrx skyline...but not the money that the muscle cars are fetching.

look at the vl turbo/hsv sv 5000 gtsr etc.

$45k max for the limited editions like walkinshaws el g t vn ss group a 10k/15 k for the vl turbos gtr skylines supras.

but all of these cars now would run rings around the ho.

it comes down to whatpeople will pay.

based on history I have come to the conclusion that 1 car ticks most boxes when it comes to possible future collectible car.. and I am not talking about performance cars at the moment

1) Popular with celebrities of the day [check]

2) Unique in its current market [check]

3) the first of its kind [check.. sort of]

4) represents the period or era [check]

care to guess?

Toyota Prius..?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, disgusting horrible excuses for being anything, let alone being called a car. Just goes to show you how sick and twisted so many people can be.

yes the xD didnt have to be a fairmont ghia, but it was still the option 54 euro sport pack. like I said ford can verify a esp.
