Less than 50 have sold up until now & numbers probably wont increase at an alarming rate in the future either. If you want a sure investment though, buy a house Edited 18/02/09 06:23 AM by 03XR6T

Gone are the days that you can make money on them.

But and it's a big BuTT... I reckon they will be.....there is no difference to them compared to the classics of the 70's apart from not having the race TRACK cred.If they can last long enough to become collectibles, which I highly doubt.....Limited run manufacturing will always become collectible given enough time. It was built as an "investment" car and the only people who have bought them are the people who expect them to increase in value in 10-15 or 20 years. so in 20 years you will have a hundred low k 20 year old cars on the market.. not exactly unique! If it's a ford your after I would say an ESP is only going to go up in value, not to huge figures like the XY but they will be worth more in the future then they are today.. If I were going to buy a car as an investment I would be hunting down an R34 GTR in good condition and sticking it in the shed, maybe even a late 90's WRX or any of the evos. In 20 years time if pertol is still around and all the gen-X's start hitting retirmentment the first thing they are going to want is a toy from back in the day.
