d rangd Member 341 Member For: 16y 2m 19d Posted 20/02/09 09:34 AM Share Posted 20/02/09 09:34 AM im getting my car tuned on wednesday, first time ive had a retune since I bought it. after a heep of new parts. what should I expect: full atomic motor with cams and ported heads, full process west stage 3 kit with plenum, highflowed standard turbo with custom 4.5' dump pipe, 3 inch exhaust with straight through mufflers and a 5 inch cat, PW surge tank and will be running 2 044 pumps and 'highflowed 60lb injectors' as the receipts say. all through a t400 3 speed with 3500 converter. be good to know what I should expect?? Id say well into the 400's with all them bits d rangd!Might just be me, but im not sure I see the point of a 4.5" dump into 5" cat only to go to a 3" catback...?Good luck with it though, let us know how it goes!yeah its made for the standard turbo, which can only hit about 18-19psi he says. will put a 4 inch when I get the gt42rs turbo on an etm manifold ) but yeah I was disapointed with the old gear on there (rapid cooler, rapid pipes, running 18psi, still through the atomic motor and t400 box) it only made 300rwkw. he says the gearbox and big converter is stealing bulk power because its built for big power (much more than I will ever put through it). after talking to bps they say once they put all the PW gear and new fuel system it should make 350-370 through that gearbox, with the limitation being the standard turbo, and yes the exhaust.
