Bloke read 8 posts back ... 89W load rated tyres are technically no where near their load capacity on a BF!

Bridgestone RE-01R's PREVENT me from having an accident everyday BJC!!!! :titwave:

Yeah that's what I was getting at. If the tyres aren't rated enough the insurance company may say no to a claim.

Chris

What was done to house a massive 295 under the rear? Does it scrub? Could you go slightly wider?

Cheers Alf.

Not losing any sleep over it mate!

1800kg BF has 400kg on each rear tyre ... that's a long way from the the 580kg 89W load rating of the 245/35/19 RE-01's.

I'd happily let any insurance company try and prove the tyre was operated above its load rating :roflmbo:

are the Bridgestone RE-01R's a semi slick or just a sport based tyre? Just looking for new tyres & always open to suggestions.

So id be taking a step back as far as traction wise from the federals but would be getting better life & probably better performance in the wet. Tough choice. I think the street tyre would still end in a wall of smoke. Even the feds struggle up to 3rd.

Not a full semi slick... they have semi slick shoulder blocks, but more wet wether grooves

These are very good though...
