Yeah that's true... to get tyres that grip on full throttle is money well spent.

Semi's seem to wear well these days too which is great... they only wear out fast if your out cutting fast laps on a cicuit.

I've got a set of Kumho V700's (or V70a whatever...) and they are slightly down on the weight rating, however they tram-line like no other tyre I've had before! Pretty quiet, great grip but if there are ruts in the road it will try and pull the car all over the place...

Are they worn evenly?

I have my front end set at 0deg toe in, which tram lines abit on street, but turn in is really sharp.

Maybe get your alignment played with mate

Magic Benny ... stock 245/35/19 Dunlop sport Max's caused wheelspin city in 1st, 2nd & 3rd gears and were bald as @ 8000km thanks to 380rwkw Blueboost tune :tonguepoke:

Bridgestone RE-01R's rears get slight wheelspin top of 1st gear then your fully hooked up 2nd and 3rd ... have done 17000km and only half worn!

Best $1000 acceleration improvement you could spend on these cars in my opinion

What size you running? The 245/35/19 is only a 89 load rating...

Thanks for the post 2MUCHKW I might try some next time round. I understand the load rating isn't high enough but like you said I don't think it matters unless your driving with a fully laden car and a trailer.

If you have an accident and its your fault your insurance may tell you to get farked.

Bloke read 8 posts back ... 89W load rated tyres are technically no where near their load capacity on a BF!

Bridgestone RE-01R's PREVENT me from having an accident everyday BJC!!!! :beerchug:
