I have Nexens on at the moment but they are useless. I wanted to put street legal semi slicks on but am having some trouble finding them. Can anyone recommend them or does anyone use them?Russ

The one's I've heard of so far are Bridgestone RE01R's and Federal 595RS's which I'm about to find out about. I priced the RE01R's which have some impressive reviews for about $500 per tyre.If you can find other brands I'm interested to know.Benny

My suggestion, go for a good street tyre like the Michelin Pilot Sport 2 or the Continential Sport Contact 3's.....

Thanks Mr GSR.Do you know what the load ratings need to be and what these semi slicks have?Benny
mr gsr Member 46 Member For: 16y 8m 27d Posted 14/02/09 08:45 AM Share Posted 14/02/09 08:45 AM You need a minimum 93.....The semi's are down around the 89 range :(Only option is to go up to a 9.5" rim at the back, then you have a few "expensive" options....... I can't find any info on there website about them in the 19's. Just want something that will get good life and wont spin all the time. I got 2000km out of the Nexens, guess they are cheap for a reason.Russ

I reckon you should try a brick under your r/h pedal. lolIf you're only getting 2000kms out of your tyres how often do you rotate them? Every 500kms? hahaIf you're only getting that amount of kms out of a set of tyres you should be looking at your driving style.Especially if you start putting $400+ a corner boots on.
