Hey Crew!

For what ever reason my search function just 'times out' and I cant get any answers, plus I figured with fuel atm, petrol companies are probably charging full price for 98ron when its really 96ron or watered down etc so needed real time consumption figures.

I have a 2006 BF MKI F6. Have the 10psi generic flash tune through it and a deleted centre muffler. My average fuel (from the dash) is about 16-17 L/100K!!! Does this sound right? Over all, from a full tank I get between 250-300k's - that's driving relatively sensible with the odd stab here and there. Fully grandpa driving I get about 350k's. With the standard tune I get about 350k relatively sensible driving, and 400-420k's granpa. Is this about right? Or should I start looking for problems? What can I do to increase fuel economy - is there anything?

Post up your L/100k reading as per your dash and your averages k's to a tank along with what your car is.

Cheers all.

Generic tunes are POISON dude.

Get a custom tune from your local tuner and it will save you a bucket load. I get 12.5 to 13.0 from my F6 with almost 600hp. It goes up to 13.0 when I give it hell on a cruise for example. I do mostly highway driving and I'll get 500ks out of a tank.

Best I can get is low 300's round town and low 400's on freeway

This is what im experiencing atm. I think I might line up a custom tune... should I go back to the stock tune for now?

My average is ~13.8 - 14.0L/100 with 400rwkw & I only drive it hard. It's my second car so no need to drive sedately to work & what not... Just foot to the floor on weekends & at the track.

I usually get between 400 & 450km from a tank but probably quite a bit more when driven carefully (Yet to be tested).

Pretty much get 400km to the tank boosting all over the place and it is my daily driver, 450-500 if I put around but I never bought the car to do that so it doesnt happen much, that's on my 300rwkw tune.

Im getting an average of 16-17L/100km and the car is 100% stock. This involves basically 90% city ...stop/go driving.

However over XMAS when I combined existing driving, with predominantly highway driving.....fuel economy went all the way down to 11.7L/100km!

What kills these cars is hauling that 1800kg of lard ass off the mark!

Last cruise I went on had windies etc, went hard and got 14.5lt/100k's...

I have a custom tune... norm (I have a heavy foot) driving usually 13.5lt/100k's

Highway with empty car trailer 13.8lt/100k's

Highway no trailer 11.5lt - 12lt/100k's

These are all averages after a WHOLE tank... in my ute (bout 75lt's)
