No offence but the money you spent on this thing you should have just gone out and bought a xr6t striaght up.

Or just spend the 4 k and buy a motor from the wreckers.

Just thought it would be common sense

are you talkin to me there buddy?

he must be speaking about one of us... I could have bought a xr6t which would have been unreal. but id be forever asking questions like...

"whats the thing on the end of the spinning thing that makes a noise like this pppssshhhh. and how do I make whatever it is louder".. I learned alot from building this project and im now in the process of stroking a 351 to 383 backed with a 2 speed glide to squeeze into my next project. fun and games..

I went down the road of turboing a n/a engine its its been running great.

I even went down the road of ripping out the t5 and dropping in a new t56.

Everyone ask why. Well simple answer is if you love the car u can do anything with it for the right amount of money.

Now im running 318kw atw and yes I could have sold the car and bought a turbo but hey its only money why not have fun spending it, we all work hard enough for it

just my 2cents worth

I hate people that say just buy a turbo, u learn nothing by going an buying a car. Also when I baught my n/a ba ute I was on red p's an couldn't drive turbos an for me to sell it now it would just be a waste of money because the resale value is horrible.

Plus this is a good way around paying insuarance on a turbo car.
