We had to stop tuning until the clutch is replaced. One tune is at 355RWKW, but running a softcock 320RWKW at the moment to preserve the clutch.

Once the replacement is in, we can put in some more timing and bring the boost up a little harder.

As I'm in the market for a new car (not brand new) I hav been reading the posts about stronger bottom ends. I am confused now as two threads I've read said BF's from April 06 got the stronger bottom end and another I read says June 06..

Basically, I want a definitive answer if anyone could... which is it?

I really want to know if this is true, ive heard alot of 'my mate works at ford and......' and just alot of jibberish, so id like to know what the people think.

Is that right? Wow! You learn something new every day. I assume this would have been done to extend engine life and durability. Has Ford had a few bottom end failures in a stock configuration?
