just had a better look at the first pic you put up it looks like it does have an aftermarket intercooler

the stock ones are a small black unit

this car has had work done but until you know what it's useless

if you go to pit lane and tell them you have been going through this on here ( if he hasn't read it already) he will look after you that's all you have to do

they will ethier say yes it's ok or stay away from it

If he doesn't let you, he's hiding something so I'd run far. If you truely believe that your car is in great condition, you'd never have a problem letting a workshop do a basic inspection. The buyer calls the shots if you ask me

Remember this "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

Hi guys...went and looked at the car again...car really is imac inside and out...took it for another spin and drives really well...the guy does not have a problem with me taking the car to Pit Lane...I have rang Michael from Pit Lane and explained everything to him that I have said here and I am taking it there on Thursday and he is going to go over the whole thing...compression test...leak down test...he is putting it on the hoist and going over everything then he is also going to put it on the dyno...He said usually costs around the $250 mark but being from the forum he can do it for $200...hopefully everything is all sweet because its a really nice car...will let you guys know how everything goes and if all is well I suspect we will be chatting more in the future...

Cheers.

Good stuff... And that's a good sign that he doesnt mind ya having an inspection...

Sounds like Pitlane are looking after ya - $200 is a great price for the added insurance/peace of mind that you know what your getting yourself into!

Good luck with it
