I assume most of us watched this with the hype surrounding it??

Lots of boobs (every show needs more!), few good tie in's (Gatto training at Kanes gym, cop girl's mum), killa (pardon the pun!) storyline but I just didnt "feel" the 70's like I do when I look at pictures of my old's and listen to their stories.

From last nights ep's, I just cant see Newton being "gangsta".

I'm sure the next few ep's will lay some solid foundations down so it doesn't hide in the shadow of the first one.

Yer I really enjoyed the first season!

Suppose the dude did kill almost 30 people and was worth some huge amount back in the day, so I'm sure it'll get better!

Another gang related show soon on channel 9 (??) looks like it could have potential too

Haven't seen the other one cause I watch foxtel or nothing. Only turned on 9 last night because I knew Underbelly was on...

Hopefully the painters & dockers play a big part in the series. They were a crazy bunch & could make for some interisting viewing!

I liked it, great job with making everything 70s-esque!

Great to see all the cars hehe, only faults I reckon is the HZ statesman was a couple years too new? and I dont reckon the cops would have a premier!

But, loved the first series and im sure this will gather momentum!

Yeh, was a good start!

I do think that they have brought the suspicious cop in a little to early though, eg. They could of shown a little more of the bad stuff before getting the hero copper involved that 'will not stop' until he catches the bad guys!

I think they could of shown a little more of the uprise of the kiwi bloke too... I mean, he brings one load of hammer back with him from Asia and then he buys a house for $150k cash? Could of shown him doing a few deals before he was a big player!

Maybe im just being critical. Loved the first series, will watch this one with interest and it seems its going to get better.

The gals seem half decent too which is a bonus.

I know the other show ya talkin about Mat - Not sure what its called, I thought it was a bit more doco/factual than a Drama though?

Yeh Scotty, I think its a series / doco thing. Looks pretty interesting. Not sure if its only aussie based gangs or not? Interesting stuff. Bit like some of the Loius Theroix stuff

Considering he had 3 or 4 wives and numerous girlfriends in real life, lets hope plenty more cans!

Considering the series is the 10 or so years from mid 70-80's, it'll surely have to take us to UK where he was imprisoned and died?

Only watch about 4 hours of tv a week. This and Prison Break are they only must watch shows lol

Yeah I didn't mind it. Definately good to watch and I think Newton's doing a good job.

A friend of mine works for Mick Gatto and mentioned they all had a big whinge about him being in some areas in the show he never actually was back then, but you get that with a made up storey line about actual events...
