301rwkw at 11psi

Took it in to see Dale at Castle Hill Exhaust today, for those that dont know Dale is an LS1 and Expensive Daewoo tuning guru with a bit of a specialisation in Turbo V8s. Well, Dale can now tune the B series T's with HP Tuners, so I let him do his handy work this morning. So, the CAPA Box was relegated to the bin and he set to work.

He spent a full 3 hours solely tuning my car in the dyno cell, would have done 8 or 9 runs and I am stoked with the outcome. Car went in with big boost spikes (to 18psi) and leaning out in the top end (we changed plugs and there was lots of signs of pitting) so it had been getting a bit of detonation. Was making around 270rwkw but he started to get detonation on the existing custom tune so backed it off at 5400rpm.

The only thing holding the car back now is the stock zorst....so will piss that off in due course.

big :beerchug: Dale for the careful tuning and 100% focus you gave the car today. The car is now exceptionally smooth to drive now, this custom tune feels OEM but much faster.

Nice results Erko, I only just spoke to a mate who had a re-tune done on his XR8 by Dale and he was more than happy both with the way Dale approached the tune and the finished job.

Maybe a new forum sponsor??
