I'm not talking just a couple of drips here either, I'm talking a small glass of water... the problem is the inside of the boot is then wet, and I have to leave it up on the first dry day just to get the moist air smell out of it Anyone else noticed this? Guest harasn Guests Posted 08/01/03 08:21 AM Share Posted 08/01/03 08:21 AM my XR does that to. going into the dealer to get it and a few other things fixed. I got the shock of my life when the glass full of water poured onto the back of my neck. and no body was around to play tricks. I noticed that when I washed the car it was worse then if it was just rain. It can be fixed though which is good.one thing to check is that when the rear number plate was screwed in that they didn't use long screws that went through the holder and into the boot as the water can get in there. It was a problem in my dealership until we noticed the long screws were the cause
