No it doesn't - not when you have a real tuner work on your car...

:3gears:

Saying that - I haven't flat shifted the EVO yet..

I had the same tuner & same box/clutch combo as you :spoton:

None of that makes any sense to me at all, based on what little I klnow about a T56, or any manual tranny for that matter....

Ride the clutch to hold boost? Why? How? I don't care how much power is there..

Flat changing makes no difference? Actually it does - about .2 of a difference.

Seems you've fried plenty of clutches!

Box is near bullet proof - not many people have blown the diff either.. CV's - 'nother story - oops quickest manual runs stock cv's..

Last time I asked, Phil had the Nizpro uprated cv's. Unless he's back pedalled I'm assuming they're still in there??

Agree with you on the T56 issue though... They are virtually unbreakable in a T with 1000+nm of torque so god only knows how a NA broke one :censored:

Get a 6spd AUTO people

But where's the challenge in running a sub12 in an auto?? Do it in a manual and play like a real man..... :stirthepot:

Mark .... cause the missus has yet to crack a 12...

If you had a 6spd auto you would be running sub 11's :stirthepot:

Russ... But with what challenge? you dont need to co-ordinate clutch, accelerator with revs???

D - 12 was my aim when we got it and with that I'll be happy. - Mark on the other hand.....

I find I back off the accelerator to half way wen givin it a gut full. And when it comes to the Auto/man debate, I like to actually drive a car, any1 can put their foot to the floor... :innocent::pain:

I'm with you XRSics! As for the T56 issue  I actually said I blew the diff in my N/A BA XR6 flat changing into 3rd, the car only had 178rw/kW and a 5 speed box...

:pooh: F6 Ute :stupid: any one driving a T with a standard clutch and less than 300 killa waspes will know what I'm talkin bout when I say to let the clutch out that little bit slower when changing up gears to hit and hold boost longer!!!

You just need to find the sweet spot! This will see you get far better times than a flat change because you are less likely to miss a gear especially 3rd!!!

Happy Boostn' :spoton:

Oh, OF COURSE. That explains it so much better.

But then with 270rwkw, I was running 12.80's - not mid 13's.

:nono:
