nah he was fine. asked if I wanted to wind it up a bit more but I decided not to- I'd rather keep it 'safe' for now.

also removed a bit of timing as well. hes sure its gonna go bang one day and if it does- so be it. im pretty careful with it though.

id like to do an e85 tune too. a dyno sheet with 360rwkw would be nice....

yeah straight 98. bp ultimate. might pop the boost up to 17- but is it worth the risk for 5 more kw?

your using united 100 fuel, hows that going? notice a difference?

ok- next round of power searching.

decided to go for rapid's v 3.0 kit, already had the cooler, but with his 'performer' kit- small piping, not hot side, stock x over.

- and I wasnt dissapointed. my boost was maxing at 16psi, ans after the new kit went on, shot straight to 20psi first go on rollers.

after a tickle tune, taming boost down to 16psi again, rolled up 335.8kw. curve was a bit 'spikey' at peak power though, and boost was a bit low at lower revs. propped boost up at those revs, removed a tad timing, and the result was as below- 331.3kw.

the best part is that I picked up 15-20kw acroos the rev range, but only lost 4.5kw up top.

feels so strong down low now, a big plug to rapid's v 3.0 kit. its an awesome bit of kit. :buttrock:

oh and cant forget to plug bruce heinrich for a job well done. the only place to go for experience, knowledge and reasonable cost. :spoton:

absolutely ecstatic. its amazing how much more respose ive got right from down low. having a good amount of power throughout the rev range makes for some strong acceleration :msm: . polished cold side doesnt look too shabby either....
