Only Problem I can see Tocchi, the BA Phoon motor & turbo probably wont like 450rwkw depending on km's & how long it's been sitting idle. Even BF motors with lowish km's are hit & miss above 400...

keep in mind that with drag racing the engines themselfs (even in lower classes) are often considered throw away items.. and given that it only has to run for short periods of time and not put up with the stress of daily driving it actually makes abit of sence to puch the motor to its absolute limit.

$460 for pump gears seems about right Matt :spoton:

Are you planning on fitting them in a new high flow housing? If so, call BPT in Wangara as they do the whole thing for ~$1k including the gears/new housing

is that needed? as in, with the upgraded oil pump gears work the same with a stock housing? or just wank factor?

ahh I see. ill see what Kosteki want for it. and then other places.

I might get turbo front housing upgraded. last time I was at MTQ they said they'd do free exhanges on front housings because they need GT3540 A/R 0.50 comp housings.

so I might go 0.70 for some faster spool :) pending on if the stock front wheel can be retained

because I already had most of the turbo parts, ecu and motor already.

the Motor used to be in my XG ute. but I removed it and sold ute.

plus efi T6 > carby V8 :)

so much more potential with the 6 :)

plus it was $28,000 cheaper without the motor and gearbox. haha
