fitting those calipers might require a hammer ;) good stuff :)

Lol actually possible given I may need a mallet to knock the old rotors off ... These are the territory 328mm setup ... Just need to source some rotors :)

You going to get them rebuilt? Or am I the only sucker whos done that lol ...."my FG has 30,000kms and I needed to rebuild them" ... "the problem with buying wrecked calipers is you never know how long they have been sitting around, with old brake fluid slowly damaging the insides" etc etc

Oh and what's that Matt....you want to buy my RDA rotors for $100? (with 700ish kms use since last machined) :P

The smaller 8mm bolts that secure the caliper to slides are supposed to be replaced each time....but only because they have factory loctite.if you clean off the loctite and use fresh goo and torque correctly they are fine.

Didn't know about the bolt thing, but everytime I do what Luke has just posted, so no dramas ahead I see.

So they're new and have done 700km or have a lot of kms and had a skim 700km ago?

I can get new ones from my contact for a very good price (ie: under trade) so unless they are very new, I'd have to pass ... Unless $50 will get rid of them? Then I'll use them for mockup :)

Nah sorry homie.....@ $50 I'd rather keep them if I ever decide to sell the car...they are used (15,000-20,000kms) and I skimmed them and used for 700ish kms (Ruke said go easy first 1,000kms). Then my OCD didn't like the look of T3 fronts and RDA rears lol

If you can get under trade price then that's the way to go... (I paid like $180 or something IIRC); but if you're a fussy karnt like me, then just go T2 rears ($270ish? but I'm sure you have a hook up for them too :P)

yay updates! :)

luke is that the same as the front bolts. I did notice loctite on them but didn't replace it but I did crank them tight. Ill have a stab at the rears sunday. So loctite the bolts you remove to release the caliper centre to remove the pads?

I have to take gumtree lowball mode off? Dammit lol. Any chance you could measure their thickness?

Haha I'm not that bad with OCD.

Currently have a 3K stall in my BTR, that beats a rotor mismatch on my OCD meter haha

Loctite all caliper mounting bolts. They can rattle loose. Anytime you work on brakes have loctite handy.
