IF so what parts are likely to go and at how much rwkw? Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54182-risking-bottom-end/ Share on other sites

The rods are the issues. BA's will support good power but it only takes the slightest rattle or ping and your picking up bits off the road...... Guest Guests Posted 03/02/09 05:49 AM Share Posted 03/02/09 05:49 AM Toothpick rods will let go with detonation even if you have the best valve springs & balancer on the market.Just go to a reputable tune shop & they'll know the limits of your car mate Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54182-risking-bottom-end/#findComment-815891 Share on other sites

More $$$ but you have piece of mind. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/54182-risking-bottom-end/#findComment-816521 Share on other sites
