Some might say that all will be forgiven when I get me car back.. But after what could well end up being 5 months, who could be blamed for a lost interest?

My car is on a tilt bed on its way home, unfinished.. Its actually " finished " it just doesn`t wear the new front bar cause its on back order.. I wigged out at the insurance co. and told them I`d skol a gallon of rat piss before my car spends what could be another 2 months in a panael shop doing bugger all cept getting started and moved every morning..

I REALLY feel for the repairer, he`s got bulk coin in the repairs and doesn`t get paid till it`s done.

If those doughy bastards spent more time trying to actually produce and stock the parts instead of standing peoples dicks who wanna buy them, the world would be a better place.

Who gives a crap if someone wants to build a tranny BF Phoon?? They hardly ever stick to the formula, go with a GT wing or dual outlet undertray or wtf ever..

Like hello, youse dun make BF Typhoons anymore, G.. How is it protecting your brand if the 2 bumpers cost 12 grand??

Buggered if I know.. Okay I suppose the Ford guy who looked at all that plastic ( front bars etc ) and said nah that's crap take it back is too be applauded, but bloody hell, its taken too long now..

I just had two of my Typhoon dark agent rims replaced under insurance and they weresupplied two different colours and on one the paint job was terrible.

Now the poor panel beater has to sort it out with FPV and after reading all everyone elses problems I wonder if I will even be able to drive my car this year.

Mate, one of mine was repaired and really, it`s utterly superb. These guys repaired it http://www.depuluwheels.com/ I`m considering sending the other 3 wheels there for a bit of a spruce up. Apparently you need to be seated with a sedative ready when you get the bill but I don`t care.

One wheel I have on the front has been dealer doctored probably after a botched brake bleed.. Try saying that with a mouth full of marbles.. Anyway yeah, ya not alone buddy.

I have been waiting for 4months and have just been told it is going to be another month............

I realy am about to kill someone. I had the car for a week, drove it 6 times then the mrs prangs it 4 and a half months later im still waiting

I dont know what else to do I have been in contact with fair trading, lawyers, insurance and ford every day and not one of them can help me out or give me a reason as to why it is taking so long

I think im about to go after market because I just cant handle not having my car for any longer

anyone got any sugestions as to where and what kind to get ?

Fibreglass is not your friend, mate.. I`ve yet to see a fibreglass front bar that I`d have on my car. I`m sure people argue theirs are okay.

Its not an option for me, its insurance so its new. I wouldn`t have it any other way personally. We must be getting close to getting what our cars need.

I just hope the parts pass inspection. We could end up waiting longer yet.

June 22 is just a day they pulled outa their ring. It could earlier, could be later.

If you want a reason, its cause they got a shipment of plastic and it was crap, Ford sent it back..

Its not just FPV either, my repaired got the wheel cover or what I`d call an inner guard maybe plastic thing ( its just a Falcon peice ) last week..

they placed the order for all the bits in April..

They only found the THIRD rear bumper they recieved to be suitable to fit to the car..

Far as I know, and could see at the time I was there, I need a front bar, lower grill and maybe spotlights and spotllight bezels.

All the F6 and other badges are there, so is the upper grill.

I`ve had the sh*ts as well mate..

Fiberglass is sh*t for a front bar, especially with the amount of overhang falcons have, you scrape it few times and it will probably crack. With the plastic ones it just leaves scuff marks.

And just to make you feel a little better about parts. A friend's R34 GTR V-spec was rear ended last week, nothing major but nissan is charging $12,000 for the genuine rear diffuser. Importers are charging 7G. I couldn't believe it.
