Well technically even plumbacks vent to the atmosphere don't they? Just via the the engine and exhaust, but it actually comes out as carbon dioxide which is bad.

So wouldn't it in fact be better for the environment to vent the air into the atmosphere before it becomes carbon dioxide?? Which is bad.

One misconception that keeps poping up is that alot of you believe you are immune to defect notices and respective state transport authority inspections, because you hold a mechanical or engineering certification for the mod. Often these certificates are flashed about contrary to ADR's and vehicle standard regulations.

the thing I see is yes an officer may give you a defect notice for something ie bov on xr6t but if it's already been eng cert then ya just ring the eng and have the defect cleared , I think it's a waste of time and money for all involved but that's the way it is ,I know the police have enough to worry about so I really don't expect this to happen but I think an officer issueing a defect should be trained in more than just basic policy .

but that's the gov drama as the police don't get enough staffing for the jobs at hand ,that's why I don't mind HWP some of em are arrogent bastards but they are car enthusiests at hart and most of them know their stuff with hotted up cars ,talk to me at my level and we have something in common then .

so has anyone got a turbosmart kompact bov im intrested to see what they are like

Got one last weekend, easy to fit.

Feels a bit ricey and need to play with the adjustment a bit to get a happy medium, but overall I like it. (Dont get me wrong its crapola compared to a V8 noise but its all we have!)

Now if I can only work out how to get the duck whistle on there....
