Plus, with it’s advanced expansion features you can upgrade to hi fidelity sound, adding amplifiers, high quality speakers and subwoofers. Or, for the ultimate in car theatre experience, add the PXA-701 for explosive Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround sound. What’s more, you can continue to use your factory equipment, but use the Orb, advanced command unit to control your entire system. The best part is, you won’t lose any of your factory functions like telephone or navigation, and you won’t need to permanently remove your factory display. Maintain your dash and still upgrade your system. The OrbThe Orb uses Alpine’s force-feedback technology and provides intuitive tactile feedback to the user. The Orb works as a multi functional wired commander that can be mounted in a convenient place for the driver, like the centre console. The Orb has system volume control, source selection, a song search option, navigation controls, play/pause control and menu access. Its backlit buttons emit a gentle blue pulsating glow, which changes to magenta to indicate different operation cues.fair pricey as for what it does but I think itd b worth it..just wanted to see if people have got this and what they think about it? Maybe just a line converter is needed? or even a RF 360? Edited 02/02/09 07:33 AM by smicky

Just go get one already! :grin:BTW- why would u want to replace the rear speakers and only tweeters rather then putting something good in the fronts? The fronts are far more important then the rears in a typical car setup!might be worth (if you havent already) having a bit of a rear through some of the other threads on the forum...
