I also note that the power run was done in 8F instead of 6F for a different ramp rate. For those that know these things, what difference would this make to the overall numbers?

A day has passed an no replies, so its gonna be asked again...

Can any of the tuners or anyone that understands different modes of dyno tuning shed any light on this?

mate that's 4kw's.... I dunno what your complaining about

most cars lose that BETWEEN RUNS not 2 days apart in more than likely different weather/humidity.

im not saying all dynos are the same, far far from it... but 4kw's is pretty bloody close and nothing to cry about.

this was just to prove that heinrich's dyno was on par with another dyno (ie no massive discrepancy) and a fair read out I would say dude :spit:

These number are pretty typical of Bruces work. :spoton:

And yes he is good at what he does with no bullsh*t or song a dance no fancy showroom workshop just good honest workmanship.

Proof is in the pudding and theres plenty of quick ford turbos in SA tuned by Bruce . :crazystuff:

Mine came up to 352 on 15psi easily with plazaman intakes ,injectors ,high flow cat and the tune

That is an impressive power increase over stock. I'm also glad to see you are taking the sensitive route and driving with the more moderate tune first.

I also note that the power run was done in 8F instead of 6F for a different ramp rate. For those that know these things, what difference would this make to the overall numbers?

not much difference, 6f only came out in the later DD dynos I think and 8f is the closest ramp rate to it

whats with heinrich using shoot8 ??

I reckon its happy readings honestly guys.

Not saying your cars arent quick, but those numbers are to high for the mods. We see these cars tunes come and go on here daily its almost like we know the recipe for power with these things like making a vegimite on toast.... but sumthings a tad wrong with the numbers!

by all means, prove me wrong.... go run it down the 1/4, MPH doesnt lie. (unless of course the timers stop at the 1000ft mark!!!! :smilecouncil:)

noooo..... BA dumps get 320ish rwkw (without getting haemoroids)... BF dumps are a little better again, maybe 330-340rwkw.

the whole BF exhaust is a little better flowing than the BA's.

stick a aftermarket job on and you can make the same power with less boost though.

a few blokes have run quarters at heath cote and backed up the results against only way to get a true reading and bloostie ran 400rwkw outa hes bf2 phoon full standard zorst just lost the cat so dont think all is known about the dumps being restrictive  that was the point with the comparison with heinrichs dyno vs k.p.m to see if there at least with in limits and the car so would u say both dynos were happy I dont think so.............................
