I think on here most people are talking about the modification of the wastegate port and flapper. This mod allows greater control at higher boost levels when coupled with a stronger wastegate actuator.

I would recommend this mod to anyone looking at running higher than 10psi

the inlet housing on the turbo is opened up a bit on the squish face (?) to allow more flow

Hiflowing a turbo usually means you are putting a bigger compressor wheel and/or turbine in the standard turbo housings.

The only hiflow for the XR6's I know of that turbo shops are doing is the T04Z comp wheel onto the factory GT35R turbine. Machining standard comp cover to suit.
