be sure to gap your plugs (or get new ones) before loading the 10psi tune. mine broke down really badly. was ok on the 8psi with the stock plug gap but.

to save you looking NKG BKR6EIX is the part # for the iridium plugs with a .8mm gap standard. I used these and it worked a treat.

Also if it rattles at all on the 10psi, go down to the 8, as it is probably running a bit lean.

I would be playing it on the safe side and putting it on the dyno to check the afr's and so on. Espically for the 10psi tune.

Will do. I did install the 10psi tune and took the ute for a run.... must say.... not really as impressive as I first though it would be.... dont know what I was expecting. The sneeze is a little more noticable though, and it does rev up quicker Id recon...... Interesting... Think it will go better with new injectors and a bigger intercooler.... hehe

Just thought Id post up some pics of the upgrades Ive done.

ICC and DVD player installed properly ( havent connected the converter for the screen to play dvd's yet !! *SIGH* )

Guages Installed ( Although not happy with the Pod that holds em in )

Lowered ( Pedders ) Not crazy low, but enough that I can still visit my olds on their farm

Cheap mags and tires from Ebay

SS Inductions Big mouth CAI with K&N Filter & Typhoon 2nd CAI

Clear & Black Mk II tail lights ( Ute is a MK I and what a pain in the rear this job was !! )

Ipod AUX Cable & Aux Splitter installed

Centre Muffler has been removed and Twin Stainless Steel Hotdogs in its place.

New Xr6 skirt badges and Lower grille installed.

Ordering this week.

1. Stage I Process west Intercooler Kit

2. Mal Wood Option 3 Clutch Kit

3. Biggger Injectors.

Then off to get it all tuned.

Have a Ford Flash II box with a generic 10psi tune, but have set the car back to stock until all the upgrades are done, and tuned ( especially the clutch !!!! ) Realise from the forums here that my 5 speed Gearbox is sh*t and will eventually change it to the 6 speed T56.... when I get some more dollars !!

Anyway.... Im hooked on my ute.

just have to sell my CBR600RR and the gearbox is going to be updated to the T56. I figure once the clutch and gearbox are changed then I should be ok to go with the tune, injectors etc.
