I saw a ute in Steel that looked interesting, but a dark colour.

if you like Vixen, why not consider Seduce, its more of a metalic red. I have a GT in that colour....niceeeeeeeeeeeeee :B):

I feel for you mate, choosing a colour is always the hardest part of buying a new car IMO.

hdj80 I saw you mention Metro Ford in another thread - who are you dealing with there?

No one now. Gave me the sh*te with their failure to return calls very quickly.

At this point I am probably going interstate although a workmate has given my details to a country dealer he knows to see if he is interested in doing a competitive deal.

Another member here and I are mates from elsewhere and the dealer he got his FG 6T ute from has given me a deal that is unmatched up here so far. I hope to have something sorted this week so I can get the car ordered and built.....going Lux Pack like a fair few here so has to be built.

There is a steel 6T ute running around Logan/Gold Coast that is a chaser. Not sure if I like the colour or not......I'd like it less with the lights flashing in my mirror

I don't mind seduce but the one vixen ute I have seen was really nice. Sits on the Fg far better than the BF.

Decision is now wavering between Vixen and Dash. Both wifey and I like those two with dash in first place.

Which one will everyone be sick of in 4 years time. I think Dash will date whereas reds are rather timeless.

When I read the title I thought it was a question about what paint is 'harder' then others. Hence able to withstand more abuse...

Anyone know this? Isn't it said that black paint is softer or something? Dont know the logic or anything behind this.

:wtf:

Well after much soul seeking and realisation that as a lease car its only a 3 year proposition I have gone with DASH.

It looks great under light, great in bright sunshine, good on the road and is just that bit out there.

Can't wait.

Well delivery is expected 27 Feb - I see you are down the Coast. If you cruise past Sunshine Ford on the 26th or 27th with a bit of luck you will see a dash 6T ute with Lux pack sitting out the front.

Giddy up. Can't wait....new toys are great. Its my first new car (wife gets the good car) and my first turbo petrol.

Nick - re-read what you wrote!

You advised what you saw, and the reason behind it all in one!

ITS QUEENSLAND!
