BF's with a Typhoon bottom end (forgot the build date) can do more, but you're starting to really play with fire with 15psi+ with a stock BA motor :pooh:

totally agree. I was replying to RATED X's post, and being a bf 2 I assume it has the f6 motor. no more that 15 into a ba motor, and if its getting tired you are asking for trouble.

fuel system also needs upgrading, doesn't matter if its only running 15lb if the squirters are starved of that life giving juice

ive got dekas and a walbro pump, so fuel isnt an issue. also only got 60k on the clock so its not tired.....

lol 60k is no spring chicken ....as for your fuel system if u have a sedan you are playing with fire...you need to upgrade not only the fuel pump but u need to run a surge tank..but its your motor u can do what u like...these are just suggestions for you.

I have a Ba mk2 motor as well, 55k now, and I have been pushing 17 out of it on a daily basis, but have stopped putting the foot down so to speak, its been running that for almost 2yrs and it is still together, but saying that it can go anytime now and if you are happy to lunch a ba motor then by all means push the thing till it goes bang.....I know I will....:-)

if you cant afford to break it dont play with it.

as the saying goes "you play you pay"

I have 410rwkws running through a ba series 1. it all comes down to luck and more importantly a good tuner

are you getting any signs of trouble? I dont have an issue coughin up the g's to rebuild (my wife does though!) :rtfm: but dont wanna do any thing that's gonna make it go bang straight away. I would have thought that 'asking for trouble' was pushin 20 psi through and wot every take off. but 15 psi? if she holds for a year I'd be happy. if I could have 330rwks or so for that time I'd definitely be happy.
