I thought the whole point of having 5 lives on the flash box was to stop people from abusing the product and only allow for it to be used a set number of times (that set number would have been decided by SCT at manufacturing)?

Edit: In response to your statement Buf-Phoon and what Danny has typed, yes Im reading it as 300 flashes and not tunes. Eg, a tuner might need to make 10 flashes (or however many needed) to fiddle with the tune for the best results.

More importantly Danny (& other tuners)... What is involved in being credited burns (you will see why I ask toward the end of the post)?

I mentioned it before, but could you hypothetically turn the auto update off and use the rest of the burns you have available for pre-existing customers making small tuning adjustments and purchase another 300 burns seperately (thus not updating to recieve more).

Would this enable you to use maybe 200 burns on a certain number of customers and leave another 100 burns for small changes for those customers...

Then go and purchase another 300 burns again in a seperate lot. So in all you might have 3 or 4 seperate groups of burns in different names etc....... Or - Have I got this completely wrong?

Are there many people using them yet?

Why would I trust them to not do this when they want to sell the XCAL 4's?

I went to cv today and while I was there asked them about this as I bought one threw capa today, cv said dont worry still buy it we can still custom tune with it, and when I spoke to the guy from capa he said dw either their is just some sh*t going on at the moment which will pass in a week or so... I dunno but I sent the guy from capa a email just befor saying unless he can 100% asure me its going to be ok I dont want it
