A quick sugestion to tuners:

I used to work with auto updated software (totally diferent field) and had some bad updates thrust upon me so what I did was:

Install software on a seperate computer with nothing else (to speed the below process up only (cost $200 bucks).

when it said it was going to update I made a backup image of the computer harddrive (saved to usb drive ($30)

only Then would I alow the update - if I didn't like the update I could load the old image and be back where I started.

From what I read, if you did this when you had 300 or so tunes left you could just load up the image again when you ran out of tunes. nothing illegal - just backing up your computer and based on the integrity of sct I would be backing up before every future update

I was getting close to getting a tune and box for the FG but might wait a bit now as I don't really want to go the sct route

Hi all,

I ordered a Capa flash tuner yesterday from Capa. It was delivered today. Haven’t had much time to drive the car much yet, but boy does the power come on hard and fast. I loaded in the 10PSI tune straight up. From about 3 - 4 grand found myself going sideways the first time I put my foot down at about 40 km/ph nearly sh!t my pants. Think I'm going to try the 8 PSI tune and see if it's a bit smoother on the power delivery. Have others found that the power comes on really hard and fast and struggles with traction from any speeds lower then about 80 km/ph? (Might be time for new tyres). I don’t know what the future holds for the X-cal1 but I bought one anyway. Hopefully if I get a custom tune down the track I can still use the box. Mods to date are K&N filter, Typhoon lower intake, Monza style FMI and Capa Flash Tuner.

Cheers.

14psi down low then it hits about 4600rpm and runs down to 10psi I got 230rwkw soon I hope to get a good tune .
